SP3 changes task bar

I just installed SP3 on my PC and after the reboot the task bar is double
high but can't b adjusted back to normal. The clock is also displaying
time,day and date instead of just the time. I can't find how to change the
task bar back to normal settings. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Task Bar will display time, day, and date whenever it is double-high or
greater. If you haven't already, right click on the TB and unlock it. You
should then see a change in its appearance. Move the mouse to the top of
the TB and you should see a double-arrow. Drag downward with the mouse
untile the TB returns to one-high. Relock the TB.

Have done all the ussual things to correct this. Unlocked the tb and tried
to resize it to single high. Almost looks like a second empty tool bar is
included but the only tool bars used are quick launch and language.
