Hi

I have several windows/apps open, mostly internet explorer. Is there any way
for windows xp to remember which windows were open if I have to restart and
get back into those windows easily?

Thanks

If you go to Control Panel and open Folder Options then select the
View tab, scroll down the 'Advanced settings' list.

Check the box 'Restore previous folder windows at logon'.

That'll ensure that any Windows Explorer windows that are open when
you shutdown or reboot are automatically opened when you next start
your PC.

I know of no way to do the same for other programs though.

Martin.

Hello, John::
Is there a specific reason why the hibernate mode will not meet your
requirements?
