I had to recover my previous hard drive which had a major crash, through the
use of an external caddy and USB cable onto my new vista machine, but did not
make a backup copy of outlook before I did it.
On my new Vista machine I can see Outlook files and a pst archive but can
the panel suggest if there is there now any easy way of getting my old XP
outlook onto Vista mail, or can I go back into my old XP hard drive showing
on my Vista and start again and if so, how do I do it.
I really would like to pick up all my contacts and messages if possible.

Sorry, but in order to import messages from a PST file into Windows Mail
Outlook has to be installed.

So you are asking about OUTLOOK and VISTA - why would you ask this in
an XP group?

Ask elsewhere
