Hello putsy

Go to this site (it belongs to MVP Kelly Theriot, so it's safe):
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
and scroll down to line 164, on the left:
"Restore Taskbar to Default Functionality".

Download the run the file -- there are instructions at the top of the
page on how to do this. It would be a good idea to reboot your computer
afterwards and then see if your taskbar buttons are back.

Hope this helps -- let us know how you get on :-)
