Yeah,
It seems to be a local problem. I tried 2 XP laptops using my wireless and
my XP desktop that's getting the signal from the wireless and "regular"
Hotmail will not work. But using the same wireless system my Vista will work
with its Hotmail Live (basic package). Also, the 2 XP laptops when riding on
my next door neighbor's wireless signal, I can get to my regular Hotmail.
I never came across this problem. So, why does Vista laptop's Hotmail Live
work on the same wireless signal when the 2 XP laptops or the desktop that is
connected to the wireless router can't get a Hotmail connection?
I've tried every reasonable software tweak including Internet options,
System Restore, downloading IE 7 7.05703.13 and other tweaks. But nuthin'.
If Hotmail Live wouldn't work on the Vista I'd assume it was the local
server but Vista works. Xp doesn't.
Hmmm.........
Hmmm...
Any other ideas> Anyone?
