Ok, bad choice of words, but I'm not sure where to ask about this question.
My computer has randomly been playing sounds (most of them are like what you
hear online when you click on an ad and such or are switching through radio
stations, it just happened to me again as I'm writing this). None of my
windows has any ads opened and its annoying that it just starts "speaking"
all of a sudden and then cuts midway.Ii've run spyware, adware, and virus
software, but it still happens on and off. This forum has been great for
looking up other "computer" problems, thought I'd give this problem a try
here too. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like your pc is picking up radio station"signals"on the wires to
speakers

This could happen if a radio signal gets demodulated due to
a bad contact. Twist and turn your various loudspeaker plugs
in their sockets and unplug/plug back your sound card (if you
have one).

Thanks for the replys. I guess that sounds logical as I was doubtful a virus
or adware would play commercials over the speakers the same way as ads would
pop-up unwantedly on your monitor. I'll try your recommendations as I was
taking the bottom of the laptop apart to swap a hard drive, maybe the wires
got loose. Thanks again.
