When I boot I only have the flying window, forever.
Rebooted to "safe mode" and login as Admin.
Tried to system restore to an earlier system checkpoint. The NEXT button
does not go to a "next" anything.
Rebooted and get just flying window forever.
Any other thoughts?

Here is an update to my own post.
I've also tried checking the "device manager" and there are no errors.
I've also tried to boot to "last known configuration...." which also leads
to the flying window forever.

How did you get to the Device Manager if you get "the flying window,
forever"? There must be more to the story.

Sorry, I had rebooted again to "safe mode" to check the device manager.
