Darkened Bold Insignia

There is a Darkened Bold Insignia on the Desktop...Don't know how it got
there and it cannot be removed....help

What in the world are you talking about? What in the world is a "Darkened
Bold Insignia"? Maybe you have a ghost in your place that put it there. Is
it bothing anything by behing on the desktop? Can you work around the
Insignia? :-)

Not enough information to help you. Offhand I'd say you have some sort of
Smitfraud, Vundo, or Zlob trojan but that's simply a guess.
