Automatic update kb950749 failed this morning. The log shows 2 errors:
0xf200 and 0xf201.
I do not have SP3 installed. Would this be the cause?
Thanks

I will NEVER install SP3, I refused the update as there is NO reason to
mangle my system which is carefully controlled to only those updates I
believe are safe. But, why would MS "cause" an update to fail if you're
still on SP2, SP1, or even the original XP release? If anything, your
autoupdates shouldn't even offer any that require SP3, I don't think.

I could use the patch. Can you give me a link to it? So far I counted 16
failures that this update failed on my computer.
