trying to access the site. Tried disabling NAV to no effect. Any ideas
please?

You may receive an "Error 0x80072EE2," "Error 0x80072EE7," "Error
0x80072EFD," "Error 0x80072F76," or "Error 0x80072F78" error message when

Perhaps it's something more than just "ERROR-INTERNET-CANNOT-CONNECT"

Taken from a posting by MowGreen -
<quote>
Open your Local Area Connection via Network Connections in Control
Panel, then click Properties.
Click on TCP/IP, click Properties.
Make sure that "Obtain an IP address Automatically" is selected
Make sure that "Obtain DNS server address automatically" is selected.

If already marked as such and no joy, then see if the system can access
this page: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic76554.html

If yes, then follow Steps 1 - 11 to run FixWareout.exe
Please post the 'report.txt' as described in Step 11 so that we can see
if the system was infected or still is.

I have arrived at a report.txt but cannot seem to be able to add it to this
reply. There does not appear to be anything extraordinary on it .

Start a free Windows Update support incident request:
https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=6527

Support for Windows Update:
http://support.microsoft.com/gp/wusupport

For home users, no-charge support is available by calling 1-866-PCSAFETY in
the United States and in Canada or by contacting your local Microsoft
subsidiary. There is no-charge for support calls that are associated with
security updates.

If your problem relates to a Cumulative Security Update for IE, call the
above number and ask to be transferred to the Consumer IE7 queue (which is
47830).

For more information about how to contact your local Microsoft subsidiary
for security update support issues, visit the International Support Web
site: http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx

For enterprise customers, support for security updates is available through
your usual support contacts.
