I have Service Pak 3 installed on my computer, but service pak 2 isn't shown
as having been installed. Do I need to try to install it? It doesn't
appear as a critical update that I should install.

No you do not. If you have SP3 installed then everything that was SP2 is =
now all included in SP3, =20
