I was running XP Pro SP3 (the most recent release) and decided to go back to
SP2. When I run Windows update it says that I need to install the following
security updates (under SP3 all updates were installed):
Security Update for Windows XP (KB946026)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB943055)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB941693)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB945553)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB948590)
All of these updates fail. When I attempt to install these manually I get a
splash screen Titled "KB946026 Setup Error" that says "Files from the package
are incompatible with files on your system". Is this being caused by my
previous install of SP3? Can this be fixed? If so, what do I need to do?

Tip: Temporarily disable real-time protection by your anti-virus and/or
anti-spyware applications (e.g., CounterSpy, Spysweeper, Spybot Tea Timer,
AVG Anti-Spyware) and/or any third-party firewall (e.g., ZA) before
attempting to install the update(s). If you disable the third-party
firewall, make certain that you enable the Windows Firewall!

NB: If any of the above applications were running when you installed or
uninstalled WinXP SP3, format & reinstall Windows.
