Hi there:
I have my WU settings set to notify, but not to download or install. =
WhenI first got the notification, I downloaded all four of them via the =
WU website. But the Notify shield icon persists in the system tray in =
spite of several reboots. At first it showed two supposedly missing =
office updates which had already been installed, as confirmed via the WU =
site and the Control Panel.
Now it shows two options--Either express install or custom install. I =
think thsoe are for office updates already successfully installed.
If I opt to install these via Custom Install , would they:
1) Simply install over the ones already there?
OR
2) Give me custom options to install them, whereby I can opt not to do =
over whats already there.
OR
3) Create problems with WU?
Please advise further.
Kind regards:
Ira
