.Net Framework version 1.1 service pack 1

I can't seem to install .Net Framework version 1.1 service pack 1 i
got error anytime. Currently, I got:
- .Net framework 1.1 hotfix(KB886903)
- .Net framework 2.0
- .Net framework 2.0 service pack 1

I read earlier that I need to remove the hotfix, reboot the computer
and try to install. But the computer won't allow me to remove the
hotfix.

I need help please.
I use XP Home Edition.

Try using the .NET frameworks complete removal tool by Aaron

http://astebner.sts.winisp.net/Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip

This would completely remove all versions of .NET frameworks

After which download and install .NET frameworks 2.0 from Microsoft
downloads site

www.microsoft.com\downloads

Next Run a Express Automatic updates Which will obviously install .NET
frameworks 2.0 Service pack 1 since .NET frameworks is installed..

The .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 installation fails on a computer that has the
.NET Framework 2.0 installed...

install]
