Every update I've tried to install has been failing. I recently reinstalled
Windows XP because I've been trying to fix some Stop error crashes I've been
having. So, after the reinstall, I found myself with 70-90 updates ready to
be installed. I've tried both Express and Custom installations, and both will
sit there for a little bit, then it will display list containing all of the
updates saying "these updates were not installed." In my update history, I
get two different error codes: 0x80093106 for the Cumulative Security Update
for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP (KB944533); and 0xD0000005 for pretty
much everything else.

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft Update, or by
using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP installation

Don't worry about the title.
