I have a acer 3690-2196(Mod) I am almost out of memory. I clean out my Extra
programs that I dont use. I do the scan disk. If I go to control panel then
to Add or remove programs. I dont see any thing else to delete. Except the 2
pages of updates from security updates to hotfixes for xp. I have 60 gb. C
=30 and D= 30.
C , I only have 3 gb andits SLow. D, HAs 25gb left
1 Am I sappose to have so many updates ?
2 Is there something I can do ? Earase them ?
3 Is there some way of putting some data on the D partition ?

Windows version? How do you know you're "almost out of memory"?

Here's a link that will show you how to delete the old hot fix files that are
taking up space on the hard drive will keeping the updates on the computer

This should free up disk space on the C: drive for you.

Is your "my documents" folder on the c: drive? If so you can move it to the
d: drive by following these instructions:

It's important to make a distinction between "memory" and disk space.
Memory is the amount of "RAM" you have and is unrelated to your hard drive.
