To put it bluntly - it won't be SP3 with the issues, it will be individuals.
They will get attention and people will build on this attention as the many
people it worked fine for have no reason to post in groups such as this with
the same attitude/persistence. In other words - just like sitting in a
hospital emergency room - you will mostly only see the sick, those treating
the sick and those who got dragged along for the ride. ;-)
Just like most (all but SP1 for WIndows XP I think) SPs - once it is
released, it is not revised - so SP3 is unlikely to change. I have
installed it on many machines (100+) at this time with no ill effects.
That does not mean that your combination of hardware/software won't have
issues caused by a conflict in a particular driver, a particular piece of
software, etc. You should wait and see if anyone posts with troubles with
the hardweare and software you have installed in particular. Otherwise -
install it wisely - after backups, etc.
