One of the Windows Server 2008 Domain function level features is
quoted as being "Last Interactive Logon Information".

Tried googling that and couldnt find much info on the subject but it
sounds like a good feature..

Can anyone point me to some literature on the subject or even better
tell me where about in W2K8 I can see such info about a user?

If you set the domain functional level to Windows 2008, you will see this
feature. But to set it, domain controllers in the domain must run the version
or versions of Windows that the new functional level supports (in this case
as it says here
http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/library/f349e1e7-c3ce-4850-9e50-d8886c866b521033.mspx?mfr=true only Windows 2008).
If you are in a Windows 2003 environment and you want to see extra account
logon information(like Date of Last Logon and Logoff, Date of Last Bad Logon,
Password Last Set) you can use Windows Server 2003 Toolkit and register
ACCTINFO.DLL . After that, in the properties of the user, you will see this
additional account info.

Have a nice day!

I suspected it would be in the User info, but I have a test domain
with the forest and doman function level up to Windows 2008 however
when I goto the user properties I cannot see anything related to last
logon info. Even when I put on advanced features as I suspected it
would be in the object tab, nothing there.

Where exactly have you seen this info? In ADUC? If so where?

Thanks in advance
