Hello,
Thank you for your post.
Please note, we are Windows Server General newsgroup and we mainly focus on
Windows Server side issues here.
If you setup your FTP server using Microsoft Internet Information Services
(IIS), I recommend you open a new post in the following IIS newsgroup:
microsoft.public.inetserver.iis
The engineers and newsgroup members there are more experienced on IIS
configuration issues, and should be able to provide you with suggestions on
the FTP accessing issue.
Thanks for your understanding and have a nice day!
Sincerely,
Neo Zhu,

| Good Day,
|
| I am trying to setup a ssl ftp site for secure communication to our bank.
| My initial setup was to a local directory and that worked fine, However,
for
| the production environment I need to utilize a virtual directory on
another
| server. I setup a file share on the destination server to recieve the
files
| and gave permissions to the folder to my ftp client. I set the
| authentication to the directory to the specified users (from pass though
| auth) When I test the mapping and permissions everything appears to be
fine.
| When I try to connect however, I get "530 User cannot log in, home
directory
| inaccessible" I could really use some assistance in troubleshooting this
| issue.
|
| Thanks
