I'm sure there are other tools, but ERD Commander had nice wizards for
building boot CDs, and more importantly now Microsoft owns it and it had a
chance to become an official Microsoft sanctioned boot environment for
repairing systems. As the OS manufacturer, they could have done a LOT with
the ERD Commander tool.
