Hotfix Removal

I have a general questions i was working on a server we were having problems
with and i was told by support to install Kb943669 after we installed this
Hotfix it made the situation worse. I looked up the hotfix i found out that
it has absolutly nothing to do with our specific issue.

If i remove the hotfix will the removal turn all the previous setting back
to normal. Or will the same issues still be there after the hotfix is removed
because it already adjusted hte settings?

I am just wondering if someone know what the actual removal of a hotfix does?

Why not restore from your backup?
(You did backup before installing the hotfix I hope!)

That is what is broken and they are trying to fix. I am unable to backup the
server right now.

Hello Dave,

If the hotfix is to uninstall, it should revert to the previuos settings.
Check if you have the $uninstallKBxxxxxx or similar folder for this hotfix.
Here are normally all old files are saved for uninstalling the update.
