They don't get an error message when the shares stop responding, there
computers just hang.
I believe I have found the problem. We are running Symantec EndPoint
protection version 11.0.2. I talked to Symantec yesterday, they say this
is a know bug in EndPoint Protection and the fix will be released in
Maintenance release 3 due out in September 2008. In the mean time they
have proved me with a work around. I should know if this is the fix in the
next day or two.
Thanks for the help. Larry
