After windows me starts up it wont go past the wallpaper,
I also get a quick message updating shortcuts then it
will freeze, no startup icons of any kind. also it will
not reconized the floppy drive or the CD-rom drive.
I can get into safe mode and everything looks normal- all
the program icons and start buttons are there.
any help will be appreicated
