It might be overheating. You might want to clean out the dust first, plug
the memory chip out and in again and then run msconfig to be sure you are
running a minimal configuration. Go to the startup screen and uncheck
those not necessary for operation. Does it crash while just sitting at the
desktop screen? Have you run scandisk? You will need to isolate this a
bit more.
