    - IExplorer causing a fault in MSHTML.DLL When I get an email with link to a web site I quite often get this error message and the only way to get rid of it is to reboot.     - startup problems I am a complete novice and I have suddenly had two error mesages at Start Up 1)" Ledll has caused an error in IEDLL.EXE, possibly corrupt, reinstall." 2) "LOADER.EXE has caused an error" I do not know if these two items affect the running of the PC, or if they are file fragments. They may be harmless.....I don't have the know-how to reinstall these items, so there is only one way, and that is to reinstall ME.     - Please help before I panic. Startup problem. Alright. I own a gateway, probably my real problem... but anyway... The computer starts up, then suddenly a black screen appears. A dark blue rectangle appears in the center about an inch in height and the width is somewhere around 3 1/2 inches. It asks "Enter Password" with a black text box and a flashing white square. I have no idea what my password is as I had never installed one onto the computer before.     - Windows Me Updates freeze system during start up - In the middle of downloading Me Updates from Microsoft website, my power supply crashed & powered off my PC.     - Can't delete a folder from the recycle bin The subject pretty well sums it up. The folder is a sub-folder I deleted from the favorites folder, and inside of it was a defunct shortcut.     - Can of Worms with shutdown and start up Originally when performing shutdown the computer would hang after all the icons and programs showed a normal shutdown. In order to turn off the machine I would press and hold the start button. Upon starting I receive the new hardware wizard stating that new hardware was found but not naming the device. (No new installation took place) I would press next on the wizard for it to search for software for the "new" hardware. The wizard then states it was unable to locate software. In order to proceed I would choose finish at which time an error message about the SUReg key comes on. Followed by a Kernel32.dll message when I clear the first error message.     - System Restore I just upgraded to a larger hard drive and copied my old drive to my new. I received an error message when I booted with the new hard drive that stmgr was causing a conflict. I discovered that stmgr is System Restore. I had to disable system restore in msconfig to eliminate the error. Of course, system restore no longer works. I reloaded my WindowsMe and it did not fix the problem. My questions is: How do I remove the list of installed updates in Windows Update because mine is no longer current? The only way I can power down my PC is by holding in the
power button for 10 seconds. If I use the shut down menu
it just keeps restarting. I am sure this isn't good for
the hard drive. Please can anyone help.
