Johnny
Click on START, then RUN and type the letters MSCONFIG, then click OK.
On
the new screen, click on the STARTUP tab, and take note of each
program.
Once done connect to the web and go to the following website;

http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_content.php

Right under INTRODUCTION, click on PROGRAMS, and on the new screen,
click on ALL ITEMS. Wander down the page to the Alpha list and check
out each of your
programs. They are all explained and there is a recommendation on the
left
side of the page as to whether the program is required or not.

Once you have determined which programs to keep in the Startup, try
and
disable those you are not keeping via Preferences or Options in the
actual
programs, otherwise return to START/RUN/MSCONFIG and click on the
Startup
tab. Remove the checkmark in whatever program you no longer require in
STARTUP.

Good Luck
