virus isnt showing up now anymore?

Ok well now the virus seems to be gone i am guessing
because it isnt showing up. Anyone have any take on that?
I cant find my windows file. I looked everywhere and even
searched it and i can not locate it? I ran both programs
in safe mod, norton and avg and now like i said the virus
isnt there so they say. Let hear what you think and any
take on where i can find my windows file?

Your "windows file". Which file is that? The Win Me operating system is
comprised of many files so telling us which file you think is missing would
probably assist those who you are asking to help you.

I apologize, i am not good with computers, if i was then i
wouldnt be here asking for help. The file i am referring
to is located when i click on my computer then i click on
drive C and i find it in there. Its the windows folder
that contains temp,history and cookies. etc. Thanks :)

Ah, the Windows folder. That helps. It is, as you say, a folder rather than
a file.

Are you able to run Win Me? If yes then you must have a Windows folder
although to be more correct you have an "object" called %windir% which is
usually but not always a folder called WINDOWS. I wonder if the problem in
your case is just that you have "hidden" the folder so that it is not visible
when using Explorer?

To view hidden and system files and folders using Explorer, open Explorer,
then Tools | Folder Options | View and check the radio button "Show hidden
files and folders" and UNcheck the radio button "Hide protected operating
system files". Can you know see your windows folder?
