May I suggest that you ask questions relating to the installation of XP on a
newsgroup supporting XP such as microsoft.public.windowsxp.newusers or
microsoft.public.windowsxp.setup_deployment.
NTLDR together with ntdetect.com and boot.ini are part of the XP startup
files.
Assuming, possibly wrongly, that your Win Me files are still present on your
system. To revert to Win Me, boot to DOS using a Win Me boot floppy (it must
be a Win Me floppy) and at the A:\> DOS prompt enter:
SYS C:
This should hopefully now allow you to boot straight into Win Me without
seeing the message about NTLDR.
