Last Friday I got the Netsky virus on my computer. I went
to Symantec and did what was advised but since then my
computer has been running really slow and the System icon
shows system resources to be 41% free. When I delete
cookies and temp. Internet files and restart, the
Resources go up to 81% free but as soon as I go on the
internet to get email it just slows down and the resources
go back down too. It takes a very long time to go to any
dites on the internet too. When I run a virus scan the
computer shows no viruses so I don't know what's making
the computer run so slow. Anyone have any idea what's
going on? I've also put the System restore down to the
lowest level. Thanks for any help.

Have you considered a spyware/adware scanner? Most antivirus programs don't
do a good job - or ANY job - of removing such pests.

http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ - Get AdAware, install it, update it, then start
cleaning. See if that helps.
