Hi,
I'm having problems with my computer. It won't let me
defrag or check scan disk for errors. I let it run over
night thinking it would take a long time and it still said
0% complete this morning. I haven't done any updates on my
windows me since I downloaded it sometime back. I would
like to see if I download windows 98 back on there, and
deleted me if that would help? I don't know what to do.
And if it sits to long it will lock up and won't do
anything. You have to do a hard shut down in order to use
it again. I hope somebody can help me, as in telling me
what I should do, and what to do first.
Thank you

Get the free ScanDefrag. It is the most advanced disk maintenance
program there is. It runs Disk Cleanup, ScanDisk, and Disk
Defragmenter. It's easy to setup and use, and it can deal with
problems like "drive's contents have changed: restarting...".
Get it and read about all the options it has that you can use.

It is not unusual to see Defrag restart a number of times.=20
It is , however, unusual to see ScanDisk restart.
This is why I suggest starting it at bedtime and letting it run =
overnight.
