2 problems

1. I am getting an error message telling me that I have a
WJV error. Doesn't seem to affect my computer but have no
idea how to get rid of it.
2. My desktop has been deactivated with an improper
shutdown (my electricity went off). Now I cannot turn my
active desktop back on. When I try my computer locks up
and I have to cut the electricity to continue.
