my mom-in law has done something to her computer - when it starts up windows
loads, then it tries to bring up the desktop - an ie error is displayed.
there is no task bar or start button visible.
i've tried everything i know - clicking all over the place. i once got
norton antivirus to run, but couldn't make anything else happen.
was able to warm boot from blank wallpaper but nothing else.
anyway to access the start menu from the blank wallpaper screen?
i've tried inserting the startup disk, i can hear it running, but nothing
happens on screen.
any information would be greatly appreciated.
