I have a program that will only display in the Maximized
setting even though it used to display the re-sizable
windows. I can Minimize it, but when I right-click the
icon, Restore is no longer an option, only Maximize.
Conversely, when it is Maximized, the Restore button (mid
upper-right windows button) no longer works, only
Minimize. I was told that this is a known glitch and
there is a fix (adjusting something in the registry) but I
could not locate it in the Knowledge Base. Can anyone
help?

Maybe something like this will help them?

Resizes anything, does the screen size trick, pretty decent actually...

No. It happened to me at work with a different program but
the IT tech fixed it. He was the one that told me it was
a known glitch and that the fix was in the registry. He's
been on vacation, but perhaps I'll ask him when he returns
and post the answer here in case anyone else runs into
this problem.

I really just wanted to return functionality to my system,
but I'll take a look at it. Thanks.
