help

I am having 2 problems.

1.) windows me will not defrag

2.) I tried uninstalling an dreinstalling windows me, and
now I can't get it to except my cable modem. It says that
it can not find the disc that I have loaded.

Any help would be appreciated.

If I recall, I had to install an Ethernet Adapter when we installed
the cable connection. Did you reinstall your Adapter driver after
re-installing Win Me ? Right click My Computer then Properties, Device
Manager and select Network Adapter. Double click the name of the
adapter, select the Driver tab and then select UPDATE DRIVER. Have
your disk ready and you should be all set.
