I'm hoping someone can help me.
Evertime I start Windows, on my Desktop when I try to
open My Documents, My Computer...I get the
message:"Exlorer has caused error in <unknown>. Explorer
will now close. Try rebooting...." I reboot and then it
works. However, sometimes it won't.
Frustrated,
Tina

I've been getting the same "Explorer has caused an error
on KERNEL32.DLL. Explorer will now close." error message
and haven't been able to find anyone who knows exactly
what the problem is. Is there any help out there?

Check for parasites since one of the most common reason for messages
such as
"explorer has caused an error in <unknown>" is due to the PC harbouring
a
parasite or other possibly unwelcome guest

I'd recommend that you download yourself a copy of the free Ad-Aware
6.0 from
Lavasoft (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and also SpyBot
(http://security.kolla.de/) and scan your system for and remove all
unwanted
parasites, adware and spyware that might be hiding on your PC.
