error message

an email i think, infected the computer. i've run
antivirus which turned up trojan horse.after running av
several times the results all come back clean. the
problem's that whenever any application calls on explorer
i get a "explorer has caused an error in wmpdxm.dll
explorer will now close". closing the requester shuts down
the explorer window and clears the tray.any similar
experiences? any known fixes? i am juanchiclote

This error appears to be associated with having installed WMP9. I have
attempted to get more information from the WMP team at Microsoft and, to date,
their only advice is to try reinstalling WMP9.
