I have a Dell Dimemnsion 4300 with IE6 SP1. Have been having a number of
issues with "Explorer causing errors in.. (various)" and numerous issues
both Start up and Shut down. Following advice in these groups I have fully
removed NAV 2005 and replaced with Neguard.
I have made 2 huge mistakes
a) Disabling Sytem Restore (months ago)
b) by putting my WinME reinstallation disk in, I cancelled before it could
set up. I can still acess the net and OE, but WMP9 doestn't work (internal
Application Error) and I cannot access any Internet pages that require
javascript.
I know I've been stupid, any ideas?
