I am a computer novice. This weekend I spent countless
hours reloading my entire OS. Once done, I now get a
prompt every time I log on that says the following:
"enter your network password for Microsoft networking"
Although I can clearly just click on the "cancel" option,
I would like some way of disabling this prompt so I don't
have to deal w/it every time I turn on my computer.
Help! Please remember I'm a real computer novice,
so any explanation must include all necessary steps (in
other words, don't assume anything--I've no idea what
I'm doing!)
thanks!

See MS KB 152104 - "How to Prevent a Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows
Me Logon Prompt at Startup" (http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=152104).
