dumprep.exe

In WinME, I found this file running under "processes"
after hitting the CTL-ALT-DEL keys. I have an error
message that pops up on my screen. If I try to get out of
it, it pops right back up. However, when I End Process
for "dumprep.exe", I am able to close the error message
window (until next time I reboot). What does this file
do? What is causing it to load?
