I have Windows ME on a 20g hard drive e-machines box. 18 mos ago or so, I
tried
configuring for dual boot by either existing me os or some flavor of Linux,
which required a hard disk partition. the linux install handled all that.
now the linux boot up is corrupted, and i haven't fooled with it for quite
some time. would like to get rid of the partition, the linux software and
regain the hard drive space. i'd also like to not have to copy all
data/software and do a complete re-install. is this possible? If so, how?
thanks,
steve

I had Linux installed some years back and the only thing that would
remove the Linux partion was the Linux software that installed the
partition to begin with. FDISK wouldn't remove the partition. You
would certainly find more knowledgable advice than I can provide about
removing that patition and trying to save the Windows install in a
Linux newsgroup.

Good Luck
