critical updates

hi, i did the critical updates package yesterday. it
screwed up my whole computer. Now that i finally got back
on afer trying forever, when i go to internet explorer to
play pinochle via yahoo like i used to it wont load or let
me play anymore. Also sometimes now when i shut down it
goes to windows screen takes a long time then the black
screen comes up saying unable to install certain updates,
windows may not start properly. anyone can give me info
as to how to fix this now. it ran perfect before the
critical update yesterday. Thanks

Run System Restore, you will see a point create by Windows Update, called
V4 Update - similar - Restore to any point "prior" to that update.

You mention updates(s) make sure you choose the correct point.
