I currently have windows ME and it will not allow me to
send my resume as a word document so others can read it. I
feel like I am in the 19th century, by having to paste and
fax my information. I need help. How can I convert my
works documents into word documents?

Word is not a free application but rather a word processor that needs to be
bought, either stand alone or as part of Microsoft Office although it is
included in some versions of Works.

However all is not lost. I suspect your problem isn't your word processor but
rather the format you are using for your saved files. I don't use Works so
cannot comment on the options available but feel sure that it will include one
Word compatible format using a doc extension. Failing all else save in Rich
Text Format (rtf) extension as this can be read by those using Word without
any problems.
