I am running Windows ME and sometimes when I fire up the
computer I get a message that the drive can't be found,
but if I retry it a couple of times it starts up fine.
The other problem I get is a stop screen that shows
things like the processor and amount of ram etc, and says
press F1 to resume (as if there was was an error, but it
is not showing an error). Could all of this be a CMOS
battery issue? Also, if I change the CMOS battery, will I
have to do any other configuring or can I just fire it up
and go? Please help...
