There are a number of "popup stoppers", both free, shareware and $$$. Do a
Google search for "popup stopper" and you will find a multitude of choices.
My Zone Alarm Pro firewall blocks mine.
Heirloom, old and hates popups

Do a GOOGLE search for "Popup Stoppers" and you will find
dozens of both pay and free ones... I personally use ADD SUBTRACT PRO
and it is great.. Cost: $30.00 US.

I understand that Microsoft is finally going to add the ability to block
them to Internet Explorer in the next service pack. Until then there are
many freeware and shareware utilities that can block them, or you can use an
alternative browser such as Mozilla or Opera.

You should also try doing a google search for HOSTS file.
There are some custom HOSTS files that help block some
popups.

I works on my machine.

Also Panicware has a very good popup stopper for free.
