Recently all attachments that have been sent to my home
email address have been deleted by Outlook Express. It
has made it very hard to work from home on files that I
send from my office. Plus all the pictures that family
have been sending me cannot come through because OE is
preventing them.

The message reads: OE removed access to the following
unsafe attachments in your mail: & it gives the name of
the attachment.

I know for a fact that these attachments are safe and plus
I have a wonderful virus protection that keeps the bugs
out.

Any ideas how I can get OE to stop doing this. It is
really frustrating.

Thanks for your help

Tere

Outlook Express has not removed the attachment but rather is preventing easy
access.

To access attachments in Outlook Express:
Tools | Options | Security | and uncheck the box "Do Not allow attachments to
be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus".

If you do decide to uncheck this option PLEASE don't forget to scan for
viruses and any other nasties ALL of your attachments irrespective of whether
sent from a friend or not before making any attempt to open or run them.

Hello;
How do you know the e-mail you send from your office is
not infected? How do you know the pictures that family
members send to you are not infected? In general,
something or someone is looking after your e-mail. Do not
fire them.
