I am reposting..,. see post on 7/11 re: startup problem.

When I start the comp. it wants to run scandisk but
immediately goes into error, followed by invalid page
fault and general protection fault.
all related to Kernel32. Ive already been to those sites
listed for k32 problems but have no answer.

Anyone aware of a site to get a WinMe bootdisc that
will download to a cd.? My new computer doesnt have a
floppy. Thanks!!!!

Assuming you'd be downloading this on a different machine, with CD burning
software - most burning progs can burn a bootable cd from a ME boot disk. In
Nero that would be done by selecting Boot CD then image source A:\ and
Floppy Emulation. Then hit the burn button. I imagine it's much the same in
other applications.

The resulting CD will boot as though it were a floppy, ie to an A:\ prompt.
