I have a problem with WinMe hanging up after I log on. I
have downloaded all sorts of info from Microsoft and have
a question. As long as I have the system set to Selective
System the system runs with no problem. Once I click on
normal settings and reboot, the system hangs up.

Is it ok to leave the system on selective settings while
trying to evaluate the problem? I think I have it limited
to a driver problem. Currently going through the process
of elimination.

Can anyone help? Advise? Would appreciate it.

Sure, leaving it on selective won't hurt anything - with the exception, of
course, that any driver that's disabled won't load.
