Windows XP installation

Can I upgrade my version of Microsoft windows ME to
Windows XP Professional? I can't seem to get it to work
without a lot of issues with upgrading programs.
HELP

Problems regarding upgrading to or installation of XP are best asked in a
newsgroup supporting XP rather than one supporting those using Win Me.
However to answer your question, you need to seriously read, understand
and take action on everything the XP Upgrade Adviser has to say before
upgrading.

Aditionally, prior to upgrading, put the line

BUGS=OFF

in your config.sys file. It seems to solve quite a handful of issues.
