Windows Me Icons

After doing a Virus Definitions download, all my Desk
Icons are acting differently than before: Up to now:
double click and I would get the application; now I have
to right click which gives me a drop down with the
choice "Open Home Page", Explore, search.., Scan with
Norton Antivirus; Create Shortcut, Delete, Rename;
Properties. Using the "open" I get the application!!
Ex: Used to double click "My Documents" and would get
them; now: right click and get the drop down box, so I
have to click "Open Home Page!!.
Can anyone help pls, and tks in advance.

Right click an icon that is giving you grief, click on Properties and verify
the "Target path:" is correct to the appropriate .exe file.
