Windows Me Hangs on boot up - Solution by Dan

Wanted to finish this out in case anyone decided to see
how I went about it.
I gave up and just decided to reformat the hard drive and
re-install Windows Me. Though getting my personal files
off the drive was tough, I managed to do it.
Just a lesson to myself always back up!!
